The Statistics Study Program, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta extended family thinks well of Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. for the award she has won as UNY's First Outstanding Lecturer in the position of Lector. This award was given during the 57th UNY Anniversary Ceremony which was held in the Main Meeting Room on Friday, 21 May 2021.
Program Studi S-1 Statistika Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta berhasil memperoleh akreditasi “Baik” dari BAN-PT tertanggal 11 Mei 2021. Sertifikat akreditasi program studi ini berlaku sejak tanggal 11 Mei 2021 sampai dengan 11 Mei 2026. Perolehan status “Baik” merupakan perolehan maksimal yang dapat diperoleh sebagai program studi baru.
The Statistics Study Program, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta succeeded in obtaining "Good" accreditation from BAN-PT dated 11 May 2021. The accreditation certificate for this study program is valid from 11 May 2021 to 11 May 2026. Obtaining "Good" status is the maximum achievement that can be obtained as a new course of study.
PKM 5 bidang Kemdikbud merupakan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa secara nasional yang diadakan setiap tahunnya. Program ini diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan, Kementerian Pendidikan, kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi. Pada tanggal 6 Mei 2021, dari 67.743 proposal yang diajukan oleh para peserta diumumkan bahwa ada sebanyak 4.522 proposal yang didanai. Terdapat sebanyak 58 tim dari Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) yang lolos didanai.
PKM 5 in the Ministry of Education and Culture is a national Student Creativity Program which is held annually. This program is organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. On May 6th, 2021, out of 67.743 proposals submitted by participants it was announced that a total of 4.522 proposals were funded. There were 58 teams from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta that get funding. One of these teams is the one chaired by Wiwied Ishartuti (Studendt of Mathematics Study Program 2019).
Olimpiade Nasional Statistika (ONS) 2021 merupakan sebuah kompetisi yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Statistika (Himasta) Universitas Gadjah Mada. Olimpiade tersebut terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu babak penyisihan, babak semifinal dan babak final. Babak penyisihan dilakukan secara online pada tanggal 6 Maret 2021 dengan perlombaan mengerjakan 10 soal essay. Sedangkan, babak semifinal dilaksanakan secara online pada tanggal 27 Maret 2021 dengan perlombaan dibagi menjadi 2 sesi yaitu essai dan analisis data.
The 2021 National Statistics Olympiad (ONS) is a competition organized by the Statistics Student Association (HIMASTA) of Gadjah Mada University. The Olympics consists of 3 stages, namely the preliminary round, semifinal round and final round. The preliminary round will be held online on March 6 2021 with a competition to work on 10 essay questions. Meanwhile, the semifinal round will be held online on March 27th, 2021 with the competition divided into 2 sessions, namely essays and data analysis.
31 March 2021, FMIPA UNY Student Affairs in 2020 selected 126 proposals submitted by FMIPA UNY students and obtained 100 titles (86 student research titles and 14 thesis research titles) which were declared passed and funded in the 2021 fiscal year. Statistics Study Program students in 2018 and 2019 succeeded in bringing fourteen proposals for funding. The following are the titles of the proposals and teams from the 2018 Statistics study program that passed:

31 Maret 2021, Kemahasiswaan FMIPA UNY Tahun 2020 telah melakukan seleksi terhadap 126 proposal yang diajukan oleh para mahasiswa FMIPA UNY dan diperoleh hasil 100 judul (86 judul penelitian mahasiswa dan 14 judul penelitian skripsi) dinyatakan lolos dan didanai pada tahun anggaran 2021. Pada tahun ini mahasiswa Prodi Statistika 2018 dan 2019 berhasil membawa empat belas proposal untuk didanai. Berikut judul proposal dan tim dari prodi Statistika 2018 yang lolos:
