Statistics Infographics Competition (SIC) is one of the competitions in Statistika Ria & Festival Sains Data (SATRIA DATA) which is intended to compile the information contained in the topics provided into an interesting and comprehensive infographic. This activity was organized by the Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) with the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Registration for this competition is open from 18 August 2021 to 18 September 2021.

Big Data Challenge (BDC) is a competition to obtain recommendations for solving real problems analytically. The problems used in the competition are business/ operational/ strategic problems faced by the organizing partners. The organizers of this competition are government agencies, research institutions, private companies, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, or other organizations that have agreed to be involved in this competition. Problem solving is done using statistical techniques, analytics, and data-based machine learning.

The Borobudur Authority Board in collaboration with Sovereignty of the People and the UGM Tourism Vocational School held a 2021 Tourism Village Writing Contest and the writing competition has reached its peak. The competition is expected to be able to develop the quality potential of social media narratives and introduce existing tourism potential so that it is better known and becomes an attraction for tourists.

Congratulations to Angeliya Milla Khariyani (Statistics student at UNY Class of 2018) for her achievement as the "Best Speaker" at the National Seminar on Mathematics, Statistics and Its Applications (SNMSA) which was held on Saturday 28 August 2021 by the Department of Mathematics, FMIPA Mulawarman University. Angeliya presented her article entitled "Analysis of Factors Influencing the Number of Tuberculosis Patients Using Geographically Weighted Regression in East Java Province".

PKM-AI is a student creativity program in the form of scientific articles resulting from student academic activities. This program is organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. PKM-AI participants are a group of students who are active and registered for undergraduate or diploma education programs. PKM-AI aims to give students experience in producing scientific writing. Unlike PKM in other fields, PKM-AI does not end at PIMNAS.
