Socialization of Study Interest for Statistics Study Program Students Batch 2019

The Statistics Study Program Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta has four study interests, namely (1) Education and Social Sciences, (2) Biostatistics, (3) Actuarial Science, (4) Economics and Business. For each interest, there are two elective courses in odd semesters and three elective courses in even semesters.

On Monday, July 5th, 2021, the Statistics Study Program UNY held a study specialization socialization for Statistics Study Program students Batch 2019. At the meeting, Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. presents descriptions and topics in the courses Statistical Mediation Analysis, Multilevel Modeling, and Structural Equation Modeling. These three courses are electives in the study interest of Education and Social Sciences. Furthermore, Mrs. Rosita Kusumawati, M.Sc. deliver descriptions and topics in the courses of Economic Mathematics, Life Insurance, and Financial Statistics. In the next section, Mr. Ezra Putranda Setiawan, M.Sc. deliver descriptions and topics in Applied Biostatistics and Spatial Statistics courses, which are courses of interest in Biostatistics. Mrs. Syarifah Inayati, M.Sc. convey descriptions and topics in the Stochastic Process and Risk Modeling course; Mrs. Prof. Dr. Dhoriva Urwatul Wutsqa delivered descriptions and topics in the Survival Analysis and Econometrics course. All socialized elective courses have been held for students of the Batch 2018 of Statistics Study Program. It is hoped that this study specialization will make it easier for students to determine elective courses that suit their individual interests.
