    Penerimaan Mahasiswa baru Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika angkatan 2013 dan sekaligus Pembukaan OSPEK (Orientasi Studi dan Pengenalan Kampus) di tingkat Fakultas diselenggarakan pada Rabu, 21 Agustus 2013 pukul 07.00 WIB di halaman FMIPA UNY. Setelah acara pembukaan dilanjutkan dengan pembekalan kepada mahasiswa oleh Dr. Sugiman, M.Si., Drs. Sahid, M.Sc, dan Dr. Maman Agus Abadi. Isi pembekalan meliputi Struktur Organisasi Jurusan, Visi dan Misi Prodi Mat dan P.   • Universitas Jember Kuliah Lapangan di Jurusan P. Mat FMIPA UNY

    Sebanyak 74 mahasiswa dan 5 dosen pembimbing dari Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Jember melaksanakan kuliah lapangan di FMIPA UNY, Selasa (28/5). Rombongan diterima Wakil Dekan I, Dr. Suyanta, Kajurdik Matematika, Dr. Sugiman, Koorprodi Pendidikan Matematika, Dr. Ali Mahmudi, dan Bambang Sumarno, M.Kom.

    A total of 19 students from UNY's international mathematics education class took part in a sit-in program at the Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Malaysia for five days.
