The International Conference on Data Science and Official Statistics (ICDSOS) is an international conference held by the STIS, Statistics Polytechnic. This conference is the first conference and submitted articles will enter proceedings or journals. In 2021, this conference carries the theme "Strengthening the Contribution of Data Science and Official Statistics to the Society in the Disruption Era". Adi Setiawan, a 2018 UNY Statistics Study Program student, presented his article entitled "Comparison of SMOTE and Nearmiss Method for Handling Imbalanced Data Classification in Disease Problem (Case Study: IFLS 5)" on 13-14 November 2021 via zoom. This article has been published in the proceedings of ICDSOS 2021. In this article, Adi collaborated with three of his colleagues, namely Anas Rulloh, STIS Polstat student, Salsabila Rahma Anisa, Muhammadiyah University Semarang student, and Nadira Sri Bellinda, Bogor Agricultural University Masters student.
