PUTRI PUSPITA SARI'S PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE AND OFFICIAL STATISTICS 2022

This year's Official Statistics National Seminar will be held on Saturday 17 September 2022 in a series of activities for the STIS Statistics Polytechnic Anniversary and National Statistics Day. The series of activities at the National Official Statistics Seminar began with a call for papers which was open to the public, panel seminars filled with keynote speakers, practitioners or academics of statistics, and parallel seminars filled with presentations by speakers. This seminar raised the theme "New Era of Official Statistics: Implementation of Big Data, Small Area Estimation, and Geospatial in Supporting SDG's". This seminar aims to produce various solutive, innovative, and adaptive thoughts regarding issues, strategies and methods that utilize Official Statistics to support SDG's. In parallel seminars, presentations were made by speakers whose papers passed the Call for Paper activities according to the topic of the 2022 Official Statistics National Seminar. The number of papers presented was 162 papers with details per topic as follows: Official Statistics 54 papers, Statistical Applications 83 papers, and Data Science 25 papers. Putri Puspita Sari, a 2019 UNY Statistics Study Program student, presented an article entitled "Group of sub-districts based on contraceptives using the k-means algorithm: Case studies of sub-districts in the Special Province of Yogyakarta" with Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. at this national seminar.
