The final session in the Visiting Professor program series with Prof. Wu on Thursday, May 16 2024 opened with the introduction of the National Dong Hwa University campus. NDHU is a national research university located in Hualien, Taiwan. Founded in 1994, NDHU is ranked in the top 10% of universities in Taiwan by THE, QS, U.S. News, which offers the sixth broadest range of disciplines in Taiwan, includes science, engineering, computer science, environmental studies, oceanography, law, arts, design, humanities, anthropology, social sciences, educational sciences, music, and business. The students of Statistics Study Program UNY students who are interested in further study at NDHU can apply for a Taiwan government scholarship or take part in the LPDP scholarship program. Then, the lecture continued by discussing the homework that had been given in sessions 1-3. Students are divided into several groups and each is accompanied by Prof. Wu and his graduate students. The students were very enthusiastic in discussing in solving the problems given. At the end of the Visiting Professor series, Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D, as UNY Statistics Coordinator, gave a certificate and several souvenirs to Prof. Woo. Then continued with a photo with all the students and lecturers of the Statistics Study Program UNY.
