Graduate Profiles

The following is a profile of graduates of the Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY.


1.    Data Scientist    

Statistics Study Program graduates can become data analyst and programming in various fields. A data scientist is an analytic expert who uses his skills in both technology and science to find trends and manage data. 

 

2.    Data Analyst    

Statistics Study Program graduates can become data analysts in various fields. A data analyst plays a role in data cleaning, data transformation, data inference and conclusion drawing. In general, a data analyst works on structured data.

 

3.    Statistician

Statistics Study Program graduates can become statisticians in government and non-government agencies. A statistician applies statistical methods and models to real-world problems. Statistician collect, analyze, and interpret data for decision making. 

 

4.    Academia

Statistics Study Program graduates have a strong knowledge base to continue their master's degree to become an educator. 

 

5.    Statistics Consultant

Statistics Study Program graduates can become statistical consultants in educational institutions, health institutions, government institutions, private companies, and independently. 

 

6.    Researcher Assistant

Statistics Study Program graduates can become research assistants in various fields. 

 

7.    Actuary Candidate    

Statistics Study Program graduates can become actuary candidates.
