At the first meeting, various methods of technical analysis of stock investments along with examples of their application were discussed in detail. Meanwhile, stock investment management was reviewed at the second meeting. The Practitioner Lecture Program is also expected to provide insight into the world of work for Statistics Study Program students.

When investing in stocks, an investor needs to do fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Fundamental analysis is carried out by taking into account the macro and micro conditions of the company with the aim of determining whether the price of a stock is lower than its intrinsic value (undervalued) or even higher than its actual prospects (overvalued). Companies with a clear business model, making profits and debt ratios that do not exceed the maximum standard are some examples of suitable company criteria to choose as a place to invest. Technical analysis is carried out using the company's historical data, namely stock prices and trading volume. Technical analysis is more often used for short-term investment purposes. By observing patterns such as market data, stock prices and stock transaction volume, investors can determine the right time to buy shares (entry point) and the time to leave the market (exit point) is clear. The Indonesia Stock Exchange also has tools that can monitor stocks with unusual trading activities and/or price movements (unusual market activity) at a certain time on the exchange and can potentially disrupt regular, fair and efficient trading activities.
