UNY's 59th Anniversary was held with a series of interesting activities involving lecturers, staff, college students, and even the general public including school students. One of the series of activities was the MIPA EXPO which was held on the main page of FMIPA UNY from 29-31 May 2023. There are 40 booths that took part in enlivening this event. The MIPA EXPO activity booth was divided into 4 groups consisting of culinary groups, orchids, departments, and also student organizations.

Department of Mathematics Education also enlivened the MIPA EXPO by filling in the stands provided. Various learning media, students' works, to creative and innovative works of mathematics lecturers are offered to the general public. Armed with a 4m x 2.5m stand, the Mathematics Education Department residents succeeded in presenting a captivating exhibition that attracted many visitors. Visitors to the Mathematics Education Department's stand varied from high school students to doctoral students. Every visitor has the opportunity to take part in an interesting quiz which is held every day at a certain time. Various kinds of door prizes were also distributed to visitors who won the competition from the Departmental Technical Team.

MIPA EXPO took place lively with a variety of stunning performances. The participants in the acoustic, dance and vocal competitions succeeded in attracting the visitors. The MIPA EXPO committee also presented a talk show filled with entrepreneurs, students, and outstanding teachers who willingly shared their knowledge and experiences. The success of this event is the hope to hold a more lively MIPA EXPO in the coming years.
