VISUALIZING THE STRATEGIC ISSUES WITH BIG DATA TO ACHIEVE THE SDGS: 2 STATISTICS STUDENTS BECOME FINALISTS IN INFOGRAPHIC COMPETITION OF STIS 2022

Poisson or National Statistics Olympiad Week is a national statistics competition organized by the UKM Education and Culture for the Forkas Sector under the auspices of the STIS Statistics Polytechnic Student Senate. Poisson is presented to all students throughout Indonesia in commemoration of National Statistics Day (HSN) and the 64th Anniversary of STIS Statistics Polytechnic. This Statistical Infographic Competition is a competition to hone skills in graphically visualizing information, data, or science. This competition can foster a critical, creative, analytical, competitive, and sensitive attitude to problems, especially in the field of statistics.

Representatives from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) are the "Nexus Team" consisting of Asma' Khoirunnisa' (student of Statistics Study Program 2021) as team leader and Firdaus Amruzain Satiranandi Wibowo (student of Statistics Study Program 2021) as team member. The Nexus Team managed to become a finalist in the prestigious infographic competition. The title of the infographic presented was "The qualitative analysis of Nexus and land development perspectives: Agricultural land or photovoltaic parks?".

The infographic competition began with paper and infographic selection, followed by a final round of questions and answers with reviewers. On October 2, 2022, Nexus Team was one of ten teams that qualified as finalists to present their work along with a question and answer session with examiners/reviewers.
