Statistics Students 2021 Get Predicate as the Most Outstanding Student at FMIPA UNY Period January-June 2023
The Statistics Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY once again presented outstanding achievements in the academic and creative fields. In the period from January to June 2023, a student from the Statistics Study Program, Asma 'Khoirunnisa', managed to register his name as "the Most Outstanding Student" from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNY. Her high dedication and involvement in research and the Student Creativity Program (PKM) are the main factors in winning this prestigious award.
Asma 'Khoirunnisa', a student from class 2021, has made amazing achievements during her studies at FMIPA UNY. Armed with a love for statistics and a passion for innovation, Asma' is actively involved in various academic and research activities. One of Asma's shining achievements is her participation in various scientific research. In one of the studies she participated in, Asma' played a role as a member of a research team exploring the use of statistical methods in analyzing economic data. The research won recognition and publication in leading scientific journals, which further strengthened its position as an outstanding student.
In addition, Asma' is also an active figure in developing creative ideas through the Student Creativity Program. One of the PKM projects he has successfully designed is "Optimization of Radiation Reduction on Laptop Shield from Sansevieria trifasciata Laurentii and Abu Sekam Padi using Response Surface Methodology" under the guidance of Mr. Wipsar Sunu Brams Dwandaru, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph. D. This project aims to utilize Sansevieria trifasciata Laurentii and rice husk ash as materials to minimize laptop radiation exposure. Through this PKM, Asma' tries to make a positive contribution to society and the government through the idea of formulating funds for the characterization of materials that can reduce radiation exposure from laptops.
Asma' Khoirunnisa' felt very grateful for the award she received. She revealed that his success was inseparable from the support of her lecturers, friends and family who always provided encouragement and motivation. She hopes that his achievements can inspire other fellow students to continue working and contribute in bringing positive changes to society.
"The Most Outstanding Student of FMIPA UNY Period January - June 2023” won by Asma 'Khoirunnisa' is proof that Statistics Study Program students at UNY have extraordinary potential in producing outstanding works. Hopefully this achievement will continue to motivate students of the Statistics Study Program to continue to excel and innovate.
