Statistics Study Program, FMIPA, Yogyakarta State University (UNY) carried out Community Service (PkM) for Lecturers with Off-Campus Activities (DLK), with the following activities: "Statistical Inference Workshop with Simulation-Based Approach I" on September 7, 2024.

In this activity, the Statistics Study Program, UNY collaborated with the Mathematics Study Program, Nusa Cendana University. This activity was chaired by Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. members who joined this PkM activity were Mrs. Dr. Retno Subekti, Mrs. Indira Ihnu Brilliant, M.Stat., and Mrs. Andika Putri Ratnasari, M.Si.

The speaker for the Workshop on September 7, 2024 were Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. and Mrs. Andika Putri Ratnasari, M.Si. with the discussion topic "Basics of parameter inference with confidence intervals" and "Confidence intervals for proportions with a simulation-based approach". The moderator for this activity was Muhammad Goldy Wahyu Haryadi (student of Statistics Study Program, UNY). This workshop was held online with the number of participants reaching 100 participants. During the workshop, students and lecturers also actively participated in the activities.
