Socialization of Study Interests for UNY Statistics Study Program Students

On Friday, January 22, 2021, the UNY Statistics Study Program held a "Socialization of Study Interests" for students of the UNY Statistics Study Program in semester 6. In semester 6, there are four areas of specialization offered, namely Education and Social Sciences, Biostatistics, Actuarial Science, and Economics and Business. Each area of specialization will hold two elective courses. Elective courses offered include Multilevel Modeling and Structural Equation Modeling (Educational and Social Science Interests); Survival Analysis and Spatial Statistics (Biostatistics Interest); Life Insurance and Risk Modeling (Actuarial Science Interest); Stochastic Processes and Financial Statistics (Economics and Business Interests). This activity also conveyed the final project topics proposed by the lecturers in the UNY Statistics Study Program. After this socialization activity, it is hoped that students will be able to more easily determine their interests and get inspiration for the final project topic they will be working on.
