Saturday (15/02/2025) afternoon was the peak of the DATAVERS (Data Science Competition) ANAVA UGM 2025 series organized by the Statistics Student Association (Himasta) UGM. The event took place at the 7th Floor Auditorium, FMIPA UGM and was attended by the datavers finalists, including UGM Statistics Lecturers, the Jury, and the committee. DATAVERS is a competition branch in the form of a data science competition for D3/D4/S1 level students from all universities in Indonesia which aims to train students in providing solutions to real problems with an analytical, mathematical, and statistical approach using statistical techniques and data science.

The competition stages include preliminary selection tests and the grand final. Hajran Azbytama Winarya and Biliarto Sastro Cemerson (Statistics 2021) successfully passed the preliminary selection so that they were declared finalists and were entitled to participate in the Grand Final round. In this round, Hajran and Bili (his nickname) presented the results of the data analysis with 6 other finalists at FMIPA UGM. They managed to achieve the 2nd place winner of DATAVERS ANAVA UGM 2025.
