Statistics competitions such as writing and the Olympics are held every year, especially from campuses that have Statistics and Mathematics study programs. During this pandemic, the competition system became easier because it was held online, so it could be accessed from different locations. This was used by Adi Setiawan, student of Statistics Study Program 2018 to take part in various competitions in honing his abilities and skills. The first competition he participated in was the SAS Data Science Competition which was held by IPB from 7 October to 19 November 2020. In the initial preliminary round Adi managed to qualify, but in the following rounds, he was not lucky. The other competitions are the Statistical Analysis Week IX Jamboree 2020 Mulawarman University which will be held on 13-14 March 2020, Eleven March Statistics Olympiad (SSO) 2020 which will be held by Universitas Sebelas Maret on 5-8 November 2020, National Statistics Challenge 2020 and in 2021 Universitas Brawijaya, Data Analitycs Competition (DAC) Find It Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Data Mining Competition Universitas Gadjah Mada which was held on 25 April 2021, and Statistics Essay Competition (SEC) 2021 on 26 November 2021.
