Workshop on Bivariate Data Analysis for Senior Secondary School Mathematics Teacher

Bivariate data analysis is one of the new materials that appears in the Learning Outcomes of the Independent Curriculum for Phase E and Phase F, namely the senior secondary school level. Realizing this condition, the Community Service Team of the Department of Mathematics Education is trying to help senior secondary school Mathematics teachers to master the material, so that they can teach it to their students.

For this reason, the FMIPA Community Service Team in collaboration with the Mathematics Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta held a Bivariate Data Analysis Workshop for High School/MA Mathematics Teachers on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The workshop was held in Meeting Room III, FMIPA UNY and was attended by representatives of Mathematics teachers from Yogyakarta City, Bantul Regency, Sleman Regency, Kulonprogo Regency, and Gunungkidul Regency. The workshop was opened by remarks from Mr. Suyanto, S.Pd. as the Chairperson of the MGMP Mathematics DIY, and was opened by Dr. Sri Andayani, M.Kom. as the Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics Education. The speakers for the workshop were Prof. Dr. Dhoriva Urwatul Wutsqa, M.S., Drs. Muhammad Fauzan, M.Sc.St., Ezra Putranda Setiawan, S.Si., M.Sc., and Rizky Nur'aini, M.Stat. There were three main materials presented in the workshop, including (1) the basics of association analysis, (2) the basics of regression analysis, and (3) the practice of learning regression analysis based on web applications.
