The 2021 National Statistics Olympiad (ONS) is a competition organized by the Statistics Student Association (HIMASTA) of Gadjah Mada University. The Olympics consists of 3 stages, namely the preliminary round, semifinal round and final round. The preliminary round will be held online on March 6 2021 with a competition to work on 10 essay questions. Meanwhile, the semifinal round will be held online on March 27th, 2021 with the competition divided into 2 sessions, namely essays and data analysis. The final round will be held online on April 10th, 2021 by presenting the results of the data analysis that was carried out in the semifinals. The team from the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Statistics Study Program consisting of Adi Setiawan (2018 Statistics, team leader) and Ayuning Maretania Qurbani (2019 Statistics, team member) succeeded in becoming semifinalists. Even so, we hope that UNY Statistics students will always remain enthusiastic in participating in competitions.
