Asma' Khoirunnisa' Received a Bronze Medal at The International Research Innovation for Agritech Development from Brawijaya University
Is excessive use of laptops healthy for students? This question may sound rhetorical nowadays where students tend to be inseparable from their laptops, especially for students with study programs that really touch a lot with the use of computational software such as statistics. It is well known that laptops have radiation exposure which, if it has accumulated, will endanger the health of its users. This is of course in contrast to the concept of Society 5.0 because existing technology should not harm or threaten the productivity and welfare of humans as a society.
It is this concern that underlies Asma' Khoirunnisa' (Statistics 2021) research on The International Research Innovation for Agritech Development organized by Universitas Brawijaya from February 1 to March 21 for the top event, namely the Winner Announcement and Awarding Ceremony. Together with the supervising lecturer from the Department of Physics Education, FMIPA, Yogyakarta State University, namely Dr. Pujianto, S.Pd., M.Pd. and colleagues namely Adillia Nur Anggraini (Chemistry 2022) and Nur Azmi Zahra Fitriani (Chemistry 2022) have succeeded in compiling a research entitled “Optimization of Radiation Exposure Reduction on Laria-Pad (Laptop Radiation Absorbing Pad) from Mother-in-law's Tongue and Eggshell Using Response Surface Methodology” and won a Bronze medal.
The International Research Innovation for Agritech Development is an international scientific competition held by the Agritech Research and Study Club (ARSC), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Brawijaya University as part of the Agritech Research and Entrepreneurship Innovation (AGREETION) 2023. This prestigious competition is attended by several universities from neighboring countries, namely Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), De La Salle University (DLSU), and other best universities in the Southeast Asian region. Hundreds of teams from the best universities in Indonesia also participated in enlivening this competition.
