The Statistics Expertise Group Team, Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta carried out Community Service activities (Lecturers with Activities Off Campus) on Thursday-Friday 27-28 July 2023. The theme chosen for this activity was "Workshop of Visual Data Analysis using R". This activity was organized by the Statistics Study Program UNY in collaboration with the Mathematics Education Study Program, Mercu Buana University, Yogyakarta. The resource persons at the workshop this time were Prof. Dr. Dhoriva Urwatul Wutsqa, M.S., Mrs. Kismiantini, M.Sc., Ph.D., Mrs. Dr. Retno Subekti, M.Sc., Mr. Ezra Putranda Setiawan, M.Sc., and Mr. Bayutama Isnaini, M.Sc. moderated by Mrs. Indira Ihnu Brilliant, M.Stat.

The workshop is divided into two days with five sessions. In the first session, the material was delivered by Prof. Dr. Dhoriva Urwatul Wutsqa, M.S. regarding the procedure and use of visual data analysis. On this occasion also conveyed the errors that often occur when visualizing data. Furthermore, the material in the second session was delivered by Mrs. Dr. Retno Subekti, M.Sc regarding the introduction and installation of the R program. Then, the material for the third session was delivered by Mrs. Kismiantini, M.Sc., Ph.D. regarding data management with program R. After the delivery of three materials on the first day, continued with the delivery of material on the second day. The resource person in session four, namely Mr. Bayutama Isnaini, M.Sc. He delivered material on visual data analysis for group description and comparison. Then, the material in session five was delivered by Mr. Ezra Putranda Setiawan, M.Sc. regarding visual data analysis for the relationship between variables.

This workshop was attended by 45 participants from various universities in Indonesia. The workshop participants were lecturers and undergraduate students from the Mathematics Education Study Program at Mercu Buana University, Yogyakarta and undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Department of Mathematics Education, Yogyakarta State University. Apart from that, this activity was also attended by several lecturers and students from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, University of Timor, Jambi University, and UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Workshop participants were very enthusiastic when given the opportunity to ask questions and enter the breakout room to practice visual data analysis.
