On Thursday 5 November 2020, the Statistics Study Program FMIPA UNY held an Inbound Visiting Professor program by presenting Dr. Shazlyn Milleana Shaharudin from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Sultan Idris Education University. His area of expertise is statistics, while his research area includes multivariate analysis and big data in the field of hydrology.

In this program, Dr. Shazlyn Milleana Shaharudin collaborated with Kismiantini, Ph.D. to provide lectures on Multivariate Statistics and carry out joint publications with students of the 5th-semester Statistics Study Program class of 2018. This activity will be carried out for three months from October to December 2020 online. At this first meeting, he presented material on factor analysis and its application in the field of hydrology. With this program, it is hoped that UNY FMIPA Statistics Study Program students will have international-level lecture experience and be able to compete at national and international levels.
