Student of Statistics Study Program Receive Village Development and Empowerment Holistic Program Grants (PHP2D)

The Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) is a community service activity formed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) to add to student experience and develop their soft skills. The PHP2D is a community development and empowerment activity carried out by students through the Student Activity Unit (UKM) or the Student Executive Organization. PHP2D implementing students are expected to be able to foster a sense of care and contribute to the village community so that fostered villages are built that are active, independent, entrepreneurial, and prosperous.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta is one of the tertiary institutions that has participated in sending a team from UKM or student executive institutions to obtain grants for the PHP2D program. As many as 6 teams from UNY have been declared qualified as recipients of PHP2D grants in 2021, one of which is a team from the UNY Mathematics Education Department Student Association (HIMATIKA).
HIMATIKA UNY who passed as one of the teams receiving PHP2D funds presented the title of the proposal "Optimization of human resources and natural potential of Pandansari Beach as an ecotourism tourism destination and camping ground based on the health protocol of Gadingsari Village". This team consisted of 15 students with 4 students from the Mathematics Education Study Program, 8 Mathematics Study Program students, and 3 students from the Statistics Study Program. Statistics study program students who are members of the HIMATIKA UNY PHP2D team are Adi Setiawan and Hadi Faisal Afif who are statistics students class of 2018 and Zulfa Amirul Mu'adzah statistics student class of 2019. The PHP2D activity itself will be carried out continuously starting from July 2021 to November 2021 .
