From August 1st, 2021 to September 30th, 2021, the Statistics Study Program Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta participated in the Outbound Visiting Professor (VP) program to the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Malaysia. In this program, the Statistics Study Program UNY sent Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. as a guest lecturer.

In this program, Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. collaborated with Dr. Shazlyn Milleana Shaharudin (UPSI) to give lectures on Statistical Packages for Analysis to 3rd semester students of the UPSI Department of Mathematics. This activity was carried out for two months from August to September 2021 online with lectures 2 times per week (Mondays and Thursdays). In the lecture, the material delivered by Mrs. Kismiantini, Ph.D. includes inference related to populations mean(s) using confidence interval and hypothesis testing, chi-square tests for goodness of fit test, chi-square tests for independence and homoegeneity of proportions, one-way analysis of variance, two-way analysis of variance , correlation and regression, as well as data analysis with the R statistics program. With the Outbound VP  program it is hoped that a closer and more sustainable relationship will be established between the UNY Statistics Study Program and the UPSI Malaysia Department of Mathematics.
