Dedication and Inspiration of UNY Statistics Students Achieves Most Achievement Predicate in Mathematics Education Department, FMIPA UNY

Two students from the Statistics Study Program at Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Asma' Khoirunnisa' (Class of 2021) and Firdaus Amruzain Satiranandi Wibowo (Class of 2021), received the title of Most Outstanding Student in the Mathematics Education Department, FMIPA UNY.

These two students not only stand out in the academic realm, but are also active in several research competitions such as the Student Creativity Program (PKM). Not long ago, Asma' and Firdaus succeeded in implementing a PKM project entitled "Optimization of Radiation Reduction on Laptop Shields from Sansevieria trifasciata Laurentii and Rice Husk Abu using Response Surface Methodology," which aims to reduce laptop radiation exposure by utilizing natural materials. This research program was carried out with funding provided by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs and support from the University and Statistics Study Program. In their journey, Asma' and Firdaus remind us that dedication and inspiration are the key factors behind success. They encourage statistics students to not only focus on grades, but also on the positive contributions they can make to society.

Asma' and Firdaus expressed their gratitude for the Most Achievement Student title they received. They are grateful to the lecturers, friends and family who always provide support and motivation. With this achievement, Asma' and Firdaus hope to inspire other students to continue working and contribute positively to the development of science. This award is proof that the Statistics Study Program at UNY has students with extraordinary potential who are able to create outstanding works. Hopefully this achievement will be an incentive for all students in the Statistics Study Program to continue to excel, innovate and make meaningful contributions to the academic world.
