DIY Province's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in collaboration with the Yogyakarta State University FMIPA Statistics Study Program held a 2020 Population Census (SP) coordination meeting on Tuesday, March 17 2020 at FMIPA UNY. This activity was attended by 100 students from the statistics study program and mathematics study program concentrating on statistics and 20 lecturers from the statistics and mathematics study program FMIPA UNY as census friends, as well as around 30 BPS DIY staff. In this activity, a presentation on SP 2020 socialization was delivered by Mr. Dr. Heru Margono, M.Sc. (Head of BPS DIY), presentation of SP 2020 support from Higher Education by Mr. Dr. Ariswan (Dean of FMIPA UNY), and a presentation on the support of the Statistics forum/study program at SP 2020 by Kismiantini, Ph.D. (Coordinator of the Statistics Study Program FMIPA UNY), and an explanation regarding the census friends by Soman Wisnu Darma, M.T. (Head of Social Statistics Division of BPS DIY). Apart from that, this activity also included the signing of the SP2020 support charter by the Head of BPS DIY and the Dean of FMIPA UNY, as well as the inauguration and launch of the census friends' action represented by Adi Setiawan (2018 Statistics Study Program student), Tessya Mutiara Dewi (2017 Mathematics Study Program student), and Rosita Kusumawati, M.Sc. (Lecturer in Statistics Study Program). This activity was also enlivened by an ice-breaking event guided by Syaifullah Yusuf Ramadhan and Hanan Albarr (both 2018 Statistics Study Program students). In this ice-breaking, questions related to the population census and BPS were presented interestingly and interactively.
